SureSwift is a holding company that actively invests in, and holds on to, emerging media and SaaS properties with the intent to provide exceptional value to existing and future clients. We’re a team of 75+ remote individuals in 10 times zones, with headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, USA. We behave like entrepreneurs, because we are entrepreneurs. Our mission is to cut the frustration and confusion out of the purchase process, enabling bootstrapped founders to either confidently walk away – or stay involved in SureSwift projects that tap their passion. We buy companies to own long-term while empowering the legacy team to become significant contributors to our growing team. When we buy a company, we take care of the team and customers, and aim to provide both with opportunities previously unavailable to purely bootstrapped Founders. How? Through applying our meticulous Turnover Guide, Subject Matter Expertise, and a willingness to invest money into product. We take founders’ exit as our starting point, with the expectation to continue to build on their groundwork. SureSwift’s uniquely entrepreneurial approach has helped the company acquire – and grow – 31 companies in just 3 years.
CEO, Co-FounderKevin is the Co-founder and CEO of SureSwift Capital. His passion for personal relationships and driving business results are at the heart of SureSwift’s impressive growth to date. Prior to founding SureSwift, Kevin was a Vice President at Cerner Corporation, a global Healthcare IT firm. In his 15 year tenure at Cerner, Kevin held positions in sales, sales leadership, operations, general management, and client management, eventually becoming one of the youngest Vice Presidents in the company’s 35 year history.
VP ProductTom has a history working with SaaS companies to grow and scale, while improving efficiency through optimization and process improvement. Tom has consulted for brands like Yodle and GoDaddy, and also with numerous bootstrapped SaaS companies. He has a passion for travel, and spends a significant amount of time exploring the World with his wife and children. This exposure to the unknown provides challenges that translate well into communication and problem solving skills in the SaaS space.
Growth and Acquisitions AdvisorLilia sold her Ed Tech business to SureSwift in 2016 and stayed behind in an advisory role. She has been advising SureSwift team on email, content marketing, and advertising strategy with a recent focus on acquisitions. When not working on her new B2B venture Lilia is on the lookout for great businesses to join SureSwift portfolio. In her early career Lilia was a developer for 10+ years and managed an e-commerce engineering team at the NYTimes.com prior to becoming a full-time entrepreneur in 2013.
VP OperationsAmy oversees the day-to-day operations that support the fast-paced growth at SureSwift. With a master’s degree in communications, she also leads the “People” side of the organization, which includes the growth of the team. Prior to SureSwift, Amy was part of the Consulting Organization for Cerner, a global healthcare IT firm, where she managed several projects in the U.S. and Canada. In her early career, Amy worked in marketing and public relations for pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and nonprofits.
VP TechnologyJim has 15 years of experience developing and architecting solutions for startups. Jim has worked at companies such as SomoAudience, DirectResponse Technologies, CivicScience, and SugarCRM, and also numerous early-stage startups. He has a passion for simple solutions.
Growth Strategy AdvisorMarvin is the founder of MySiteAuditor, a SaaS acquired by SureSwift Capital in 2016. Prior to MySiteAuditor, Marvin was the CEO of The Ocean Agency for 12 years, a boutique digital marketing agency in Chicago, IL, where he worked with startups, small businesses and some of the biggest brands in the world. Marvin’s agency and SaaS experience provides a perfect fit to lead the growth initiatives of our digital team.
