Stripe is (obviously) a major player in the small business payment gateway game globally, and the number of businesses who have a Stripe account grows every day. While Stripe is incredibly easy to use for online sales, ChargeStripe fills a niche for small businesses that need to take phone or in-person payments.
About the Founder
ChargeStripe Founder Kishin Manglani’s resume reads like a “Who’s Who” of the startup world. He’s been an early employee at tech startups like Venmo, Bustle, Hatch/Tinder, and others. So it was pretty natural that his passion for startups extended into his personal life.
In 2016 he founded the ChargeStripe app, but he pretty quickly realized that he wanted to sell the business and continue building.
To me starting something and going from zero to one is the most exciting part.
