One of the key reasons we’ve been able to grow so quickly over the past 5+ years? Our amazing remote team of more than 80 people around the globe.

Cole is a Business Analyst Intern on our Acquisitions team. But more than that, he’s an excellent communicator, hard worker, and overall awesome human that we’re so glad we got the chance to know. ?

While Cole’s Homebase is Chicago, he’s currently wrapping up his senior year at Indiana University in Bloomington (a quintessential college town that should *absolutely* be on your bucket list if you’re ever in the Midwest.)

Getting Things Done

Cole’s got his plate full with juggling classes, exams, and time-sensitive acquisitions tasks. I’m always so impressed with how clear he is about what’s on his to-do list and when he can deliver, and he always delivers when he says he will.

The daily details

During a typical week, Cole helps with the discovery of new acquisition leads & works with the rest of the team on evaluation of potential acquisitions. We look at hundreds of products each month in our hunt for new SaaS startups to buy and grow, and Cole’s been a part of that process from beginning to end. He says meeting founders in the SaaS space has been his favorite part of the job.

There’s nothing quite as awesome getting to play a role in someone’s early career, and we’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the most talented and creative young professionals. Cole joined us as an Intern on the Acquisitions team in 2020, and he’s been honing his business and acquisitions skills over the last year or so. He’s already got a post-graduation job lined up, and we’re so proud to have been a stepping stone in his career.

Where you’ll find him after hours

When he’s not searching for the next SureSwift acquisition or crushing business school, Cole loves cycling. In his words, “Being out on a long bike ride is like my way of meditation.”
